WHAT DO I DO NOW?

Facing tough decisions is something that comes to each of us from time to time. Often times we make our decisions rather hastily which usually don't work out too good. Then there are the times when we waffle back and forth as to what we should do until we really mess things up. But whatever decisions we will have to face one thing is for certain. Either we make our choice wholeheartedly or half heartedly. And if the decision is a major one for us, we may spend a lot of time looking back and doubting if we made the right choice or not. When this happens it usually serves to make our lives seem like a mess from which we have no escape. In the book A Separate Reality don Juan Mateo states this: "The most effective way to live is as a warrior. A warrior may worry and think before making any decision, but once he makes it, he goes on his way, free from worries or thoughts; there will be a million other decisions still awaiting him. That's the warriors way." So today I hope all your decisions will be made with the highest degree of love and that each choice will be an easy one for you to make. Make a decision to be the very best human being you can at this moment. Take a respite from the worries of todays world you find yourself in, reach out to a fellow human being and do something nice for the both of you. I wish for you all the gift of love, peace, and understanding.

Namaste brother Ron, this is one of my favourite quotes from the great don Juan. Your sentiment offer much to consider. Yet another fine post from a good friend.

Conviction in the choices we make is a difficult thing to trust in. The problem we all face is hindsight. How often we look backward to realise the choices we have made were not entirely in our best interest. Conversely, we seem hard pressed to verily appreciate, or even remember, the excellent choice we have made which proved our sense of judgment was spot on.

The only sensible solution is to grasp the fact, each choice is always the absolute perfect path forward. Why? Well, first we have to agree that choice itself is not illusory. Is our path forward a destiny, or is it a construction. The greatest philosophical minds, over thousands of years, still toy with this enigma. I always remind myself, illusion is so very convincing, judgment is so easily applied. Take the judge out of the equation, accept that each moment is in fact perfection personified, then it is rather easy to live in the 'NOW'. The path of retiring 'the judge' is the key to success.

In Lak' ech, brother Ron, prosper with acceptance... live without the judge...

Hey Christopher. Once again you are right on! If only all of us could relearn to not allow our ego selves to color our "judgments" just think how much better off all of us may be. Thanks for the visit my friend.
