THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS DEATH, ONLY TRANSITIONS

I want to share with you the following quote from Charles Mackay. He states: "There is no such thing as death. In nature nothing dies. From each sad remnant of decay, some new forms of life arise."
Nature tells us all things have their season and seem to die. But beneath the false layer of so called death resides the newness of life which will one day at its proper time will surface from this "death".
Isnt it a great feeling that we all or should I say our inner Spirit will never experience death? It shall however experience triumph over death as new life in some form or shape that I am not sure of.Either way it is a very comforting thought to carry with you as you go about his life. My hope is that all of you will have a very rewarding and safe week ahead filled with much love peace and joy!

FRIENDS

Just how beautiful are friends? I dont know about you but if it wasn't for friends I can count on I'd rather just not be here. We all tend to take our friends for granted at times and that is really a sad statement. But that seems to be the way we are as human beings. And also there are different kinds of friends for sure. Lots of the ones we call friends are really more like acquaintances. We do care about them and love them but not only do we not visit with them very much we dont even take a moment to send an email or letter or a mere phone call to say hi.We can make many excuses for this and I admit I am just as guilty as everyone else wehn it comes to this.I have come to find out that one can reallycount their true friends when they find themselves in some kind of crisis. When you are going through a rough stretch and it seems as if all is lost and then out of the blue an old dear friend calls or comes by and offers to help if only just to listen to you and say "Can I help in any way", and then at that moment you get a real glimpse of what a trusted and true friend you have there. If it wasnt for my friends whom I dearly love life would be so much more mundane and not worth living. And while I am on this subject I would like to take a moment and say thank you to those friends of mine who just a few short weeks ago could tell I was in a state of depression and not doing very well at all. And these folks read between the lines and saw I needed as pick-me-up and they all either called or emailed and let me know in their own special way that they loved me and cared about my state of happiness. So belately I say thank you Alice,Tracy,Betty B,and Sarah. You know who you are and I just hope you know how much I love each of you. In closing I would like to remind everyone just what a difference you can make in someones life with just a phone call a card or email to say hi and say I love you. Peace I leave with all of you. May God bless!

THE ONLY PRAYER THAT REALLY WORKS

In my personal search for spiritual enlightenment I have had the opportunity to study prayer and how it supposedly works. Of course each faction of individuals or even each individual will have their own personal belief about prayer. As for myself the only one that seems to work every time is a simple prayer of thankfulness. But to understand my way of thinking you must first realize I do not belong to any church or any organized religion. And I know that most churches or beliefs teach that there is a single entity that is off somewhere in the ether world that is listening to each individual prayer and then after hearing ones pleas this entity decides whether to answer that prayer or deem it not to be. Later on in this blog I will attempt to further some beliefs about God or whatever else one may call teh Creator of all life. But for now I will just leave you with my thoughts on prayer. And that is as I've already stated is that the only one that works is the prayer of thanks. I sincerely hope all of you have awonderful holiday weekend! Be safe and have lots of fun and if you can take a moment to shake a Veterans hand and giv e them thanks for all they have done for all of us Americans.

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY

To each of you and especially those of you who are veterans I wish you a safe fun filled weekend. And to the vets I offer my heartfelt thanks for all your sacrifices you have made to ensure we remain free as Americans. Thank you

A SOUL'S REFLECTIONS

Ever wonder why its so easy to see other people's faults but not our own. I've often times wondered about this and I find it extremely unique as to how one person can see in another's life their so called bad habits or sins or whatever else you may tag them with, while at the same time not being able to see their own faults which more often than not are a mirror image of the things they see in another. We humans are so funny that way. And the most interesting part is that if you call someout out on what they say about another they still refuse to accept that they too are guilty of the same things. In my lifetime I have come to find out that the faults one sees in another are really only a reflection of their own personel faults. Now there are some of us who will admit to this fact if it is pointed out to us but I'm still amazed at those who cannot see clearly their own bad habits or sins if you will.I know that everytime(at least I try to everytime) I start to judge someone I will takea look at myself and make sure Im not guilty of the same thing. And you know what? There are still times when I overlook my own sins but still see them in others. I suppose that is the way we are made but it still doesn't make it right for us to judge others while refusing to take credit for our own mistakes. The nest time you see someone who is pushing your buttons why not stop and take a deep and honest look into your own soul and see what is there for you to learn. It can be scary I admit but it always has helped me to accept others as they are and also to admit when I am wrong. Just something to think about while you are enjoying your weekend. Be safe out there and I do hope your days and nights are filled with much love joy peace and all good things!

THIS NEW WEEK AHEAD

We are all being blessed with a brand new week to work in, to play in, and to love in. My wish for all of you is that the week will be filled with much love, peace, joy, and all good things for you and yours. Let us all keep in mind that this one eternal moment is all we really have and let us take each moment to be thankful for all the many blessings we have been given rather deserved or not. And I personally think it would be nice if each one of us would do an act of kindness for someone and hope that it catches on. We can make a difference for the positive and make this world a better place for all of us. Peace to all of you.

HUMILITY

From the Bible comes this verse from St matthew: Whoever humbles himself as this little child is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
And from the Science of Mind Textbook comes this quote: The Mind which we discover within us is the Mind that governs everything. This is the Thing Itself. and we should recognize its simplicity.

May we all become humble enough to love ourselves as well as every living being!
