I want to share with you the following words of wisdom from don Juan Matus
"Anything is one of a million paths. Therefore a warrior must always keep in mind that a path is only a path; if he feels that he should not follow it, he must not stay with it under any conditions. His decision to keep on that path or to leave it must be free of fear or ambition. He must look at every path closely and deliberately. There is a question that a warrior has to ask, mandatorily: Does this path have a heart?"
"All paths are the same: they lead nowhere. However, a path without a heart is never enjoyable. On the other hand, a path with heart is easy-it does not make a warrior work at liking it; it makes for a joyful journey; as long as a man follows it, he is one with it."
My sincerest hope is that the path you now find yourself on is one that is truly blessed with lots of love and heart! If not may you decide to leave that path and instead choose one with heart. Blessings to all of you dear folks now and always. May we all be good to ourselves and even better to others.

Namaste brother Ron, may you be blessed with a wondrous year ahead. Your path, like mine, is a journey toward truth. How fortunate we are to have such a large does of heart as our paths unfold.
Regarding the quote; juxtaposed to Castaneda's interpretive work in his books, I have always preferred to give the greatest weight to the actual don Juan's quotes. Unfiltered by a limited spiritual mind as represented by the young, inexperienced, Castaneda. What intrigued me most of the quote was "free of fear or ambition".
So many extraordinary lessons offered to us from Matus. Beautiful are the ways he subtly weaves life changing messages through his teaching. In kind, vast are the benefits gained by living, as much as possible, free from fear and ambition.
Love is all there is, everything else is an illusion.

Hey Christopher. Thanks for stopping by. Tried to call you the other evening, will try again soon. Hope you have this new year started off with a bang! Thanks for the well wishes my friend. That is what I am working on at the moment with myself. Living a life free of fear and ambition. And I do appreciate all your help as I plod my way along this path. I do agree, Love is all there is, everything else is an illusion.
