LITTLE THINGS I'VE LEARNED

For those of you who are readers of my blog you may see this entry as being a little different from most. But I do hope you will enjoy it. Having just celebrated another birthday here recently got me to thinking of things I have learned over the period of all these years. I thought I'd take a moment and share a few of them with you. So here goes. You better have  sense of humor cause life sure is funny!  If someone says "It ain't about the money, rest assured it is about the money! If someone you have never met tells you they are gonna help you make some money--Run! If a friend tells you they are gonna help you make some money--Run! If someone asks you to cosign a note, just give them the money as a gift if you can and want to. If you cant do that--Run! If your significant other says ""Well, if that is something you really want to do go ahead"--What they are really saying is "Don't even think about doing that!" Don't ever buy the least expensive toilet paper on the shelf--no explanation needed! If you ever think you have it all figured out, you better get ready cause life is about to turn you upside down and shake the living shit out of you! If you think money is the answer to all your problems just try to buy yourself a loyal and true friend! If you think the sun ain't never gonna come out again just keep looking out the window every morning! If you think this world revolves around you and your desires, spend a week alone in a isolated cabin in the mountains and watch the world keep on functioning without you! If you put any expectations on anyone you will wind up being disappointed at times! And if you don't expect anything from someone you will find it much easier to just love them! If you don't take responsibility for all of your actions you will never earn the respect of intelligent people! If you think life is hard, you can bet your ass it will be! If you never learn to accept disappointments, you will never be able to experience pure joy! Most importantly, If you wait on others to love you first, you will miss so many opportunities to experience a lot of love! May all of us learn to be good to ourselves and even better to each other, for if we do, then life is truly lived as a blessing!
