SEPARATIONS

One thing most of us really need is to feel that we belong. Belong to something anything as long as we feel a connection with others in some way. There are very few peole who can enjoy this life while not having any connections with others. And I know from experience that whenever I feel seperated from everything it always causes me much needless pain and heartache.
Why do I or any of us let ourselves feel as if we are not a part of something bigger than we are? I wish I knew the answer to that one. But inwardly I am always aware that I am a part of EVERYTHING even if it doesnt seem that way at times.
And the beauty of belonging is that we are free to choose what we want to be connected with. Not that we always make the greatest decision in this area but we can always change at any time. Personally I feel a connection with all of humanity and all o f nature which I call Spirit. To me it is a very simple thing to feel. But like I said I have at times let life's troubles and hardships get in my way and I have lost sight of that "connection" But thankfully I have always been able to reconnect with my feelings and overcome the sensde of not belonging. It isn't always easy as a matter of fact there have been times when I've had to literally get on my hands and knees and crawl back to that spiritual awareness of my "oneness" with Spirit and with all life.
My wish for all of you beautiful people is that you can at this very moment feel your oneness with all of life. If this is not the case then I wish for you the ability to attain this feeling real soon.I surely hope that all of you have a wonderful weekend filled with much love, peace, and joy! I'll leave you with the following quotes
"Just sit there right now. Don't do a thing. Just rest. For your seperation from God is the hardest work in the world.---Hafiz

If we think of ourselves as being seperated from the Universe, we shall be limited by this thought, for it is a belief in seperation from God which binds and limits.---Science of Mind

Hello!

I love to hear about your feeling of connection with all of humanity and all of nature. My sense is that everyone lives in everyone else and everyone lives in us in a family unity of all that is. Oneness expresses in each act of creation, in each act of empathy, in each act of peace, kindness, compassion and love.

This is a good opportunity to share with you a Hasidic saying, “All souls are one. Each is a spark of the original soul, and this soul is inherent in all souls.”
