GOING HOME

I firmly believe that each passing day is bringing me closer to home.I see this human experience as one where we are here to experience everything we can and to learn how to be a better human being, while at the same time discovdering who and what we truly are.Past all the paradoxes and illusions of this 3d world lies that spiritual "place" from whence we come and to where we will one day return. And I mean all of us not just a select few of "believers" or "people of God". Could I be wrong? Yes, I will readily admit that I do not know for sure what happens to the human being at the point of so called "death". But I do not believe in a literal place called "heaven or hell" as both places in my mind are just a metaphorical existence made up by human minds in order to better control or correct human behavior. Now before any of you are quick to write and try to "save" me from my delusional thinking, or to even curse me as an "evildoer" or putting on any label you can think of for me, instead just remember these are only MY thoughts and that doesnt necessarily make it true for you or anyone else. If believing in hell or heaven brings you much comfort and peace then I am happy for you.If your belief in a God that is destructive, petty, and vengeful, brings you calm and peace of mind then again, I am happy for you. Just dont judge me too harshly or condemn me because of what I believe.Personally I believe in a God that is ever present within each of us and in all of life and who will be with us when we once again arrive at our true "HOME" The Science of Mind  Textbook states that an evolved soul judges no one, condemns no one, but realizes that all are on the road of experience, seeking the same goal........... I agree with that statement and I will not be forced to defend my beliefs and I am truly sorry if you choose to turn away from my friendship simply because you do not agree with my beliefs. But for those of you who really "know" what I am saying I anticipate eagerly of holding your friendship in the highest esteem and I will one day no doubt see you when we all get home. Until then remember to try and be the very best human being you can and try to do something nice for someone today just becasue you can.Keep on smiling and enjoy all those marvelous adventures that await your discovery."HUGS"

Yes! I agree with you..I have actually lost people I thought were friends because I don't believe in their god..the way I figure it, if they don't want to be my friend because of what I believe or don't believe..then to hell with them! I don't need the pettiness and condemnation thank you very much..I suppose it's their right to believe that I'm going to hell..but I think they should spend more of their time concentrating on their own lives instead of telling me what they think about mine..and I know what you mean about feeling forced to defend your beliefs...if they won't leave me alone about it I usually say something like,"The reasons you don't believe in Zeus,or Neptune, are the same reasons I don't believe in any god." (I heard Ricky Gervais say that and I thought it was brilliant!)
I agree with you too about us being all on the same journey, and it is best to be kind and respectful of each other...life really is too short to spend another second arguing and starting wars over this stupid crap...I'd rather use my time doing happy things and trying to make people laugh...that's what I think is important..there's way too much torture and sorrow in the world..great post and I'm with you about being the best human you can be...if everyone made a real effort to be more compassionate the world would be a better place..
Sorry this is so long..you got me thinking!
Great post and *hugs* to you.

Namaste brother, I have always enjoyed your fresh and positive perspectives. Although you rarely expound on the singularity of manifest reality I know it resides deeper in you than most who shout from roof tops.

This post was fantastic, even with the reservations.

Verily, it matters not how others may perceive you, the only concern of the awake mind is unbridled love without condition. This unconditional love is what you do so beautifully well.

In Lak'ech, only love only love only love....

Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts with us Eve. Glad I got ya to thinking.Your responses are never too long my dear. I truly value each and every word you share.Like you said about "losing" friends because of your beliefs I know extrememly well what you mean.I knew when I published this latest post that I would probably lose a few readers who beliefs are different than mine and sure enough I see I have "lost" one follower already and I can assume it is because I maybe stepped on one's beliefs. Seems to me that the "defenders" of the Truth and of God had rather just delete my thoughts rather than just take it for what it is.I so appreciate your friendship and your positive feedback as that helps me to continue on and not just say the "hell" with it and stop writing all together. You are an amazing woman and I always wish the best for you and yours!

Hey Christopher Thanks so very much for stopping by once again and for the encouraging words of support. Seeking to become that "unconditional love" and allowing it to lead my way each moment is the path i have chosen and I am surely blessed to have met and made friendships with folks like yourself who are open minded and non judgemental. The best of everything I wish for you and yours my friend

Thanks for your wonderful insight Cap.
For all the good and bad, and despite our lack of comprehension of the true nature of existance, people often forget that it is always a breathtaking journey that we are all on.
That's what happens when you get distracted!
All the best to you and yours my friend.
