SIMPLY LOVE

When I first began this blog I felt its purpose was for me to share things I felt I knew, while at the same time learning things from the friends I have made on this blog. For quite a while now I have been so interested in trying to figure out what this life really entails that I may have overlooked the simplicity of it all. From questions such as--How did I get here? Where am I going? Why am I even her in the first place? Is it all just a dream? Or maybe just one big illusion? On and on I could ask such questions but what would it really accomplish? I suppose just being a curious human being makes me wonder about things like that. But really, what does it all matter? I have met many really intelligent thinkers from my blog that have shared with me their thoughts on questions such as the ones I mentioned. I have come to conclude that there are many, many, possibilities about this experience we call life. But lately I just keep coming back to the realization, at least for me, that none of it much matters anyway. The only thing I can be sure of is that I will be here until I die and then hopefully go on somewhere else in  a new spiritual body. But even that don't matter. As my wonderful mother-in-law says- it is what it is. Can't argue with that! But as for me, I have decided that the only thing that really matters is pure unconditional love for all. I firmly believe that love is the answer for every situation. So now, I will continue on, probably still wondering about some of these unanswerable questions, but at the same time I am going to try my best to learn to live with unconditional love for all. It seems so simple to say love is all we need but I truly think that is about right. In closing I wish for all of you a full life that will be filled with lots of love, truth, joy, and beauty. And as always might I remind you to do something nice for someone today! I remain a dreamer, a dreamer of  a world where all of us live in peace and unity, and that we all have realized that we are ONE. As the great late John Lennon once stated--"I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one..." And I hope you will join us and the world will live as ONE. Welcome to my Dream.

yes, to become more loving is far more important than questions and answers - I could not agree more.

However, from my own experience I will sound a note of caution that in this world "civilisation" of predominant ego consciousness and materiality, we will all encounter situations where simply being loving and giving does not seem to work.. I find this hard to deal with myself, but situations arise where we have to free ourselves from malignant influence, and whilst a loving vibration will act as a spiritual protection, detachment is also needed at times in order to liberate ourselves from damaging influences. This detachment does become intuitive and automatic with spiritual practice - we learn to switch intuitively between engaging lovingly with others, and detaching ourselves from those who aim to manipulate us. This self-protection is more a case of non-engagement than of confrontation.

The required delicate balance between love and detachment can be difficult to find. But until we find it, then, unless our loving vibrations are very strong and unwavering, some people in a gross consciousness will be able to actually twist our loving intentions against us.

That said, keep dreaming up that world "where all of us live in peace and unity", and where we all "realize that we are ONE". We make it happen though visualising it and living it.

Hi Ian You are right of course. I am a living example of allowing others to take my intentions of unconditional love and using that against me to further their own personal agenda. To be blunt I have "allowed" myself to be used many times. But as I see it each one of those experiences has helped me to be better aware of others intentions. I am getting better at being able to distance myself from those who seek to use me for whatever reason. Do I like being used? Of course not! But looking back I now see that I have grown up so to speak. A dreamer? Right again I will continue to be so. Will I get angry when I see people preying on others? Of course I will. But instead of directing that anger toward the one doing the using, hopefully I can step back, release the anger and just send loving thoughts to the perpetrator. I still have a long ways to go but I am working on it. As for handling the anger I may feel toward one who has used me in any way, I rest in peace in believing g that those folks will some day get their just reward. Maybe then they can step back and see that their ways of being a user is not the best way to go. In closing I will say that I'm pretty sure I will be taken advantage of again. But when it does occur I feel I am growing by the way I handle things. As you said it is hard to find that balance at times but it is always available if I but look long and hard enough. Thanks again Ian for sharing your thoughts with us. Enjoy the moment and do visit again! The very best to you and yours as always.

Hi Ron, I see I am preaching to the choir :) I should simply follow your excellent example, rather than exploring potential pitfalls in your approach! I agree with everything you say. The principles of karmic balance will take care of justice: we don't have to seek or enforce justice ourselves. And as for self protection, divine love is itself the ultimate protective armour. Keep on living your dreams. If we all focus on being loving and spiritually strong, then we will change the world around us, automatically, even without realising the positive influence that we are having. Love is all we need.

Hey Ian Thank you for stopping in and for the encouraging words. If you are, as you state, preaching to the choir let me assure you that I will always need your help and feedback rather it be of a positive or negative nature. It is from our interaction with each other that I feel I have grown quite a bit. Your blog always inspires me and helps me to remember the things that I have forgotten. Thank you again so very much for all your input.

The word "detachment," rings in my heart and mind as a way of haste, though I could be looking at your comments all wrong with Ian,and presumably shouldn't eve's drop in the 1st place. However, stay connect,my friend,no matter. As you've said, there's something to be learned of the matters of which someone might have wronged you.I rather look at the world as you have done, rather than make estrange of it.

Much to you my friend....xo

Namaste brother Ron; another excellent post set to position love at the centre of all which truly matters.

The questions you speak of.... The uncertainty of your posits.... The creation of philosophy.... Value exists in the drive toward knowledge.

I believe the journey to one's personal philosophy, as well as, the path away from the grips of illusion, are integral components of understanding what unconditional love truly means. We paint an impression of love never knowing it's true depth.

If we are to honour love, is it not fundamental to seek commune with it's full, unadulterated, essence. Seeing beyond the superficiality of how society defines love is the key to embracing the full dominion of love.

Love is my lover, I desire to know every aspect of her being, every nuance of her psyche. Philosophy is the tool I use to sharpen my wits enough to appreciate a less impeded version of her divine splendour.

Having extolled the virtue of gaining knowledge, I will add this most crucial observation.

WE ALL NEED A ROCK!

Every philosopher holds dearest to their heart that which they can say without any doubt whatsoever is truth. Truth to a philosopher is a very slippery item. Anyone worth their salt will quickly admit they know very little. Equally, they will hedge from that which others may claim as Empirical truth. By example, only a fool would look at an apple and suggest it represents a solid mass. Philosophers, as a rule, are more likely to ask the physicist to prove the apple exists. I digress, back to the rock.

In my humble opinion my brother Ron, your rock is the best of all. Nothing is more real than love. Furthermore, I am of the belief that nothing exists in the absence of love. As well, I trust that if you are looking at something which you cannot define as love, then, you have erred in your description. For a philosopher will quickly argue, love is all that exists, everything else is illusion!

John Lennon says it best. "Love is all there is" This is the philosophers stone, the be all and end all of knowledge.

Do we have the knowledge to understand the depth and breadth of the statement?

LOVE IS ALL THERE IS

turn the coin over....

ALL ELSE IS ILLUSION

This is the truth of our existence.

PROVE IT......

KNOW IT.......

LIVE IT.......

BECOME IT.....

This is knowledge.... This is why questions must be answered.... This is Philo Sophia. "The love of knowledge"

In Lak' ech, brother Ron, prosper with knowledge.... live with knowledge.... Philo Sophia my brother....
